.... 1 messuage (in which he lived), 1 virgate land, 1 cotland with the foreland. quit rent 37s. 5.1/2d .... a croft called Pye closse .... a little pyghtle of pasture in Downe End of Barton (? with a house) .... a croft or pyghtle called Rayes Crofte with one other Crofte in Bridge End, quit rent 13s. 2d. on whose death there fell to the lady of the manor for heriot a horse worth 33s. 4d. He had previously surrended property (by the hands Michael Denton and Christopher Goldsmythe) to the use of his wife Agnes for life (if unmarried) then to son Richard Prior and heirs. ADMISSION of Agnes and Richard Prior as above.
