Eaton Bray Rural District Council: this authority was created in 1894 and comprised the parishes of Billington, Eaton Bray, Eggington, Heath and Reach and Stanbridge. When Woburn Rural District Council was abolished in 1900 the parishes of Chalgrave, Hockliffe and Tilsworth were added to Eaton Bray Rural District Council. The council was abolished in 1933 and the parishes transferred to Luton Rural District Council
