'Commend soul to Almighty God.....Redeemer, Jesus Christ.-
Instructions for burial: Body to be privately buried as followeth, by my executrix.....that no person be invited to my funeral save six neighbours to carry me to the Church and those persons to have the best kid gloves and favours, and also the servant of my nephew Francis Lowe, Esq., and the persons about me to have gloves and favours.
To John, son of Francis Lowe, £10 to buy a horse.
To servant, Thomas Spufford, all sheep.
To 'loving sister', Dorothy Stone (executrix) residue.
