On woodwarde furlong in Stocking, 6 roods w. a headland. On or near Hustable furlong, 3 acres. All are or lately were held of Manor of Barton by copyhold - - Cottage in Barton, the Burylott, and lands, meadows, pastures, occupied by M. Denton, 41 acres. Also part of Manor of Barton. With free liberty to fell or lop trees within one pole of above premises: and to dig, etc. hurlock and clay from common pit in Barton (part of waste of said manor). Granted to (2) as freely as King Charles, under the seal of the Duchy of Lancaster and seal of County Palatine of Lancaster gave it (14 June 1628) to Edward Ditchfield, John Highlord and Humfrey Clarke and Francis Mosse, citizen of London Rent to King: £4. 9, 5 from (2) :rest to be paid by (1).
