- TitleWilliam Arnsby, Raunds, Northants., to the Overseers. Thomas Ferry, son of Elizabeth Ferry, is very ill of the typhus fever. 1s. 6d. per week will not be sufficient for his maintenance while he is so dangerously ill. His mother and two more of the children are also confined to their beds, and she cannot do anything for him. If the Overseer will send word as to what he may be paid extra until he is better, he will see that the money is paid, but otherwise it must be left to the discretion of the Overseer of Raunds. Endorsed: receipt by James Jones for £1 14s. 6d. for 23 weeks pay for Ferry from 22 March to 30 August 1822.
