To Mrs W-G at Bushmead. Castlefields. Again with kind friend Mrs Bateman. Papa [John Milnes] writes in very good spirits, and sent ticket for the Cricket Ball at Nottingham - Dashing Ball here, patroness Marchioness of Hastings. Dancing the gallope at the Derby Ball. Concert here - the four Hermans or Bavarians. Newark Ball. Mary Charlotte and Dr. [Chawner] gave a dashing party. (This is not deposited at the Record Office - for information only.)
