Annual report. Mixed School: Mr Capon has effected a decided improvement in both discipline and attainment. The children sing very well from notes, and the elementary work, though only fair in quality, shows much greater accuracy than last year. Mental arithmetic is the weakest subject, and more intelligence in reading is desirable. The Infants have been carefully, and, on the whole, successfully taught, but Number [sic?] will need attention. K Whiteman continues.
