    By Bartholomew Wood of Bydenham/Biddenham?, otherwise Bartholomew Aleyn, second son of Robert Wood alias Aleyn and brother of John Wood Alias Aleyn son and heir of the said Robert, given at the request of John Cornwaleys knight son and heir of William Cornwaleys esq. deceased and in considaration of certain monies, to John Cornwaleys and a certain John Mordaunt junior son and heir apparent of John Mordaunt knight, to Edmund Feteplace esq., Robert Latymer gent and Henry Whittelyng ... all interest in a close of meadow and pasture and also a grove of wood and underwood to the same close appurtaining in which grove a house was once build lying together in Kempston Borne and abutt at one end on the land of Lord Latymer called Highfield to the north, and abutts south on a little stream called Kempston Borne Broke or any other rights which were of the said Robert Aleyn my father and previously were of William Rycher in Kempston Borne. 4 May 22 Hen VIII.
