Woodlands. Thanking you and dearest William [William Hugh Wade-Gery] for kind little notes. Had a letter from dear Polly [Mary Charlotte Chawner, sister] last Wednesday. Mary bears her stays on all day now and they seem to support her greatly. Mr. Dawson [Rev John Frederic Dawson] and Edward beg their regards.
