- Scope and ContentBeckingham. To tell about Dolly's wedding [Dorothy Milnes, sister, married Rev T Brown in Oct 1832], and all about the groom and bride, and asking about "Nanny's" confinement. Dolly looked charming. The party to church consisted of Papa, Dolly, Mr. Brown, M.H., Robert and me, Dr. Staunton and Dr. Chawner, and afterwards a very nice breakfast. Happy couple might cross the water to visit a sister of Mr. Brown's. We are so unfortunate as to be in the midst of changing our house, so that we are unable to ask dear little Polly and Robert to spend a short time with us. Talks of her own 2 babies. (On back note from Mary Hannah Wade-Gery to her mother). (This is not deposited at the Record Office - for information only.)
