Parties:
(i) Griffin Cant of Stevenage [Hertfordshire], brewer;
(ii) Mary Norman of Bedford, widow;
(iii) John Hill Day of Saint Neots [Huntingdonshire], esquire;
(iv) George Deane Sismey of Offord Cluny [Huntingdonshire], esquire
Reciting:
- ST1692/5-6;
- ST1692/7;
- Jenny Johnson was now dead and in her will of 27 Sep 1834 appointed (ii) and John Sugars as her executors, the will being proved in the Archdeaconry of Bedford on 26 Mar 1841;
- John Sugars had died in 1844;
- (ii) was heiress-at-law of Jenny Johnson;
- the principal of £200 lent on mortgage in ST1692/7 was still outstanding but all interest had been paid;
- it was doubtful whether the fine covenanted to be levied in ST1692/2 was ever levied and (i) had agreed with (iii) to indemnify him against any claim

- (iii) paid £200 to (ii);
- (iii) paid £50 to (i);
- (i) appointed that (a) remain in trust specified in the Habendum;
- (i) and (ii) released (a) to (iii)
Property:
(a) messuage in Castle Lane, Bedford, with cottage formerly of Joseph Ireland north, the lane east and the yard of John Howard south and west
Habendum
- to the use of (iii) to the use of any trust appointed by (iii), to the use of (iii) for his life, to the use of (iv) during the life of (ii), in trust for (iii), to the use of (iii) for ever
