...I ought to have answered your kind letter before this but for the last few days I have been so unwell as to need the Doctor again and have not been inclined for writing. It is very kind indeed of you to have taken so much trouble on our account. We were however suited with a girl just before your letter came. My brother Tom was wanting a nice steady girl and so I passed on your recommendation to him and he was going to write the next day. We sent to Debbie at the middle of last month and shall not be sending again until the end of the year. I am very sorry that I did not know of your wanting to send; we should have been so pleased to enclose anything for you. Dear Debbie is expecting to be confined in the middle of next month so that of course we are feeling rather anxious about her, especially as things are not very settled in Madagascar just now. With kindest love Believe me dear Mrs. Sanders, Yours very sincerely....
