Dined with my aunt Monoux. Sarah Colmeley is come to town and is as loud as ever. Death of Mrs. Richard Cust. Poor Mrs. De Butts has at last quitted Grantham. Latest fashion a very very small bonnet that you can with difficulty just get the brim upon your forehead, so as not to hide the smallest particle of your face. Mrs and Miss Spry made Enquiries after you. Respects to your good uncle and aunt and Mrs. Preston. Adieu my dearest Fatty. (This is not deposited at the Record Office - for information only.)
