On behalf of her father to solicit all the interest and votes Mr. [Hugh] Wade Gery may have either at Newark or elsewhere for the Borough of Grantham, as he intends offering himself as member for the next election there instead of Lord Brownlow who has given it up. Duke of Rutland's express concerning this new affair caught him up at Baldock. Canvass of Grantham. Dowager Lady Payne is dead. Her dowry should be an acquisition to her son. they were in town when we were, and Fanny Monoux was with them. We have seen Mr and Mrs. Gery.
