- A messuage in Church End in Flitwick, in occupation of Edmund Blofeild (lately purchased of Henry Cartwright, gentleman), a pightle late in occupation of Thomas Olney, all lands and tenements late in tenure of Henry Webbe, all land in Flitwick Meade, late in tenure of Thomas Olney at rent of 11 shillings per annum; a close called Woodclose or Woodcloses, late in tenure of Reginald Collop at rent of 7 shillings., a close called the Orchards, late in tenure of Reginald Collop at rent of 4 shillings, and 16 acres in the Common Fields of Flitwick late in tenure of Reginald Collop at rent of 15 shillings. [This estate has been granted to Edmund Blofeild in 1580 for his life, in the reversion to his sons Edward and Giles, and was formerly held by the earl of Kent as of the Honour of Ampthill].
