Letter to Hester Wade-Gery from her cousin Ann Welby

Welbourn [to Mrs. Wade-Gery, Bushmead Priory] Her brother's [Richard] recent marriage. Will live at 6 Henrietta St., Cavendish Square. Are going to visit Stocks in Hertfordshire to a Mr Haytons and then to Mr Tirel Morins in Bucks. Glad Mr [William] Gery well. Mr and Mrs. C[harles] Gery obligingly made us a Morning Visit last week. Have showed Mrs. R. E. Welby Lincoln - pleased particularly with elegant structure of the Cathedral. Doctor De Butts and family (children named) all well in America - will return to England when peace restored. Friend Ward and family now in Calcutta in great spirits.
