  • Scope and Content
[No address given]. Money. Much sickness - poor Grey is very unlucky. They have all had the fever, and are now falling ill of influenza. Have bought a young sow of J. Saunders. The sale at Stoughton Lodge was last Tuesday and Wednesday. Bob [probably Robert Wade-Gery - brother] bought some things. Hugh [Wade-Gery - brother] and wife didn't go. I go to Oundle on Wednesday for the Boys, for Holden would not let Willy [William Hugh Wade-Gery- son] come before that day, so Mr. Berkely has been good enough to allow Hughey [Hugh Wade-Gery- son] to stay two days after the breaking up day to come with his brother. All well at Bolnhurst and Colmworth. (This is not deposited at the Record Office - for information only.)
