  • Scope and Content
Written at Wollaston [Northamptonshire] ...I should love to accept your kind invitation. I cannot help wishing the service had been in Easter week, then I might come and bring Sarah Cornish with me, but as it is not I am afraid I must disappoint myself for I am expecting two new pupils on Monday, and so you see my presence will be needed here. I am truly glad you are so happily settled. I quite envy you, but we must wait patiently until the ALL things that work together for our good may bring about a change in our affairs. I have written for S. Cornish to come and spend Easter week with me. She will have to come over to Odell to make her peace with Aunt for she has delayed writing so long. I hope you have a most happy day, and that it will only be the beginning of good things. Accept kind love from myself [and] Rose and Believe me, Yours affectionately....
