Scope and Content
- to son Oliver Randes close of pasture and spinney belonging called Further Pilcroft 10 acres in occupation of testator's mother Cicily Randes, provided Oliver Randes pays testator's daughter Dorothy £200 at 21; if he defaults premises go to Dorothy but wood may be felled for payment of testator's debts. If wife Dorothy cannot pay debts speedily testator bequeath to brother-in-law Thomas Easton, gent. and brother Oliver Randes, cottage in Radwell (sic) in occupation of Thomas Allen and close of pasture Nether Howe, in trust to sell them to pay debts; remaining money to wife for maintenance of 2 children, if these die minors residue of manors, lands and tenements to wife for life, then to Oliver Rands, testator's brother, paying £20 apiece to testator's sister Hall's 4 daughters and sister Pratts 2 children.
