Butt, Peter Stratton, wid. Rotchford, Jn. Rush and wid. Ford. leasehold manors & tenements in same pars. occ. by the same held by S. Thompson of Sidney Sussex Coll. Cambridge £100 rent 24 yrs. still unexpired: Saml. Chalton & others to quit their tenures 24 Mar. foll. or obtain consent of Rob. Squire. Recites (a) 6 Dec. 1699: Agreement: Sir Sam. Thompson & Rob. Squire for sale of above for £7300. (b) Mortgage of above to Edw. Strode 29, 30 Dec. 1691: Settlement i. Sir S.Thompson ii. Jn. Yaldon of Grays Inn and Rchd. Brownlow of Holborn. iii. Sam., Rob. & Jos. Thomson, sons of Sir S.T. : securing prop. to sons (Rob.T. only trustee) so that agreement (a) could not be fulfilled Now Sir S.T. to pay off mortgage & allow Rob.
