    To Joane Freeman, wife - £400 (£200 within 1 yr, rest within 2 yrs.) : in case of death of Joane, £300 to James & Issac Freeman. (sons of 1/2 brother. Henry) & Symon Freeman ( son of brother Thomas), equally div., or to exor.: other £100 to Joane & her assigns. -The 2 bedsteads over the parlour with bedding & furniture below, - the best chest, - 4 of the best stockes of bees, - 1/2 the brass & pewter, - 1/2 my lynnen & all such lynnen as hath been made by her since our intermarriage, - all the silver spoons, - such money & towels as she now hath, - all the poultry in my yard & 1 qtr. barley to feed them, - the use of my nagg soe often as she pleaseth - & meat & drink & lodging at cost of exor. until time of 1st. payment aforesaid To Simon F., cousin (son of br. Thos.dcd.) - £100 for discharge of bonds to Jn. Crosley of Luton (unless Simon refuses to pay - then to exor.). To James Freeman. - £80 (£40 within 3 yrs., rest within 5.). To Issac Freeman - £80 (£40 within 4 yrs., rest within. 6.). To Agnes Bigg, daughter of Richd. Bigg of Limbury - £25 (within 5 yrs.) on condition that they give a release of all demands against possessions of S.Freeman. To Joane Hamond ' Kinswomen' wife of John Hamond of Pirton Herts.- £20 (within 2 yrs.) on condition that they give a release from his debts to them Money bequests to: sister Jane Freeman & her 2 daughters Eliz. & Jane, sons-in-law, Stephen Law & Thos. Helder, eldest children of Thomas Law, late son-in-law deceased; Edw. Collins of Hooton & Eliz. Buckmaster his sister. Joane & Alice, 2 of daughters of late sister, Frauncis Godman, grandchildren Simon Crawley & Sarah Pibble, sister Mary Tobie, wife's brothers Edw. & Thos. Smith & to Fra. Wingate (s.of F.Wingate.esq.) - 10/- to buy him a ring. To the poor of Luton, Leagrave, Limbury & Biscott - £5. To 'servants & Dayes men that shall dwell & worke with mee att the time of my decease' - 3/4 each. To Jn. Freeman, son of cos. Jn. Freeman. of Leagrave. - - Cottage called Copt Hall on Leagrave, occ. by Sarah Baker widow, with a pightle of pasture & 3 ac arable (1 ac. in each field) to use of Thos. Freeman of Leagrave for life & then to John: To Isaac Freeman of Biscott - - All other tens. in Luton, Caddington & Toddington - until 29 Sept. 1667 - upon trust for debts & legacies.Then to said Jn.
