To wife Elizabeth in full satisfaction of thirds & dowers
- cap. messuage or farm house lately erected at Townes End, Leagrave, upon a close formerly purchased from Jn. Norton, (Ref AD1486)
-arable land in Chalton fld. purchased from Thos. Carrington & Jn. Strange (Ref AD1478 - 80).
' & my will & full minde is that the said Elizabeth my wife comitt no stripp nor wast, butt maintayne, uphold & keepe the sd. cap. mess.
... in good & sufficent Repayre Tenaunt like & soe leave them at her decease'.
-'all my household stuffe... in about the howse wherein I now dwell ... & to take her choyce of the Pullin in & about the yard... & to dispose of them according to her will & pleasure.'
To Thos. eldest son - messauge & land as above after death of Eliz.,
- reversion of land bequ. to bro. Abraham (below)
- lands etc. purchased from Jn. Crawley late of Leagrave now of Dunstable in Leagrave, Chalton, Caddington & Luton, (Ref AD1489).

To sons Jn. & Mathais - corn & grain etc. from farm bel. to Thos. Parratt of Caddington ' wherein I now dwell'.
To son Jn. - revn. of cottage bequ. to bro. Abraham (below).
To daus. Eliz. & Sara - £40 ea. at 21 ( pd. by bro. John from corn etc. on Parratt's farm, & not by Thos.).
To bro. Abraham for life - cottage at Towns End occ. by Edw. Sheapard w. 7 ac. arable in Chalton fld., White fld., Little Wallwood & West fld. & Long furl. (Neighbour Fra. Brigges.).
Bequests to be discharged by s. Thos. after d. of w. Eliz:-
5/ - ea. to 2 grandchn. (chn. of dau. Rebecca & Jn. Pruden), Anne & Eliz.
£5 ea. to sons & daus. Jn., Mathies, Eliz. & Sara.
40/ - to sis. Johane, w. of Thos. Creswell of Crawley Green.
