    1) Richard Lovell of Bedford, cordwainer; John Bennett, late of Flitwick but now of Moulsoe [Bucks], farmer; Evan Jones of Ampthill, carpenter; and Thomas Rowe of Ampthill, straw-dealer - surviving Trustees; 2) Joseph Swannell of Felmersham, Yeoman; Thomas Hine of Milton Ernest, farmer; James Dixon of Renhold, farmer; Isaac Wale of Bedford, tailor; Thomas Rowe of Bedford, Genr.; Samuel Bennett of Ridgmont, farmer; William Bennett of Marston Moretaine, farmer; William Biggs of Bromham, mealman; John Isitt of Bedford, Butcher; John Howard of Bedford, ironmonger; and William Armstrong of Wilstead, farmer - new Trustees. Reciting: Deed of Conveyance and appointment of Trustees, 31 January 1814 i) Francis Read ii) Isaac Bradnack, John Boddington, William Stonbridge "since deceased", and 1) above Consideration £10 Conveyance by i) to ii) of a parcel of ground, Chapel or Meeting House and Premises at Maulden. Further reciting that ii) had since erected "out of monies partly subscribed or collected from the Society of Methodists and partly borrowed for the purpose" a chapel upon the said ground "for Divine Worship by the Methodist Society", and that the property had been conveyed and settled on ii) as Trustees Whereas 1) are the surviving Trustees and 2) are willing to serve as trustees, the premises are vested in 2) subject to trusts contracted in deed of 31 January 1814. Premises - all that piece or parcel of ground at Maulden, 30 yards N to S and 20 yards E to W, abutting: :S. a barn in occ. of John Paine :N. & W. a close of pasture which (together with premises conveyed) was sold to i) by Ezra Eagles and w. Sarah. :E. road from Copt Hill towards Bedford. - also all that building now standing upon the said ground and used as a Chapel by the Society of Methodists. Subject to right of access to Ezra and Sarah Eagles, their heirs and successors, to maintain barns and outbuildings on their premises adjoining. Endorsed: affirmation by John Isitt, 14 April 1825.
