    Father very poorly with bad cough, fever and rheumatic pains. Writer thinks father caught illness from him and describes own symptoms. Scarcely a house in village where someone not ill, gives list. Mr Russel has nearly used all his stock of medecine. Asks what Charles thinks best treatment for influenza. Mistake in pay of Lavendon members of men's club, which was taken at church. School goes on well, "Mr Russel continued Sharman in her class and C. French has been rebuked for telling her that Mr Jones has said she was not to have it again..." Poor people ""complain grevously of Godfrey & those who are in the club will not apply to him if they can help it." end: note from sister, Mary Sorry Charles has had influenza badly, but sure Burgons looked after him well. Mother worried about Father.
