at a time..."" Refers to John's father's better health, John's return to friendship with Mr S. Warner and discontinuance of correspondence with Kilpin for which writer is not sorry. Mr C. Higgins is to go to Bartlow after leaving London. Mentions death of Mr Heathfield. Hoper Mr C.H. is forgiven. Teases John about being in love.
