Scope and Content
Describes thunderstorm. 2 young men were drowned at Olney last Monday, a son of Mr Palmer and the only son of Mr. Davison of Clifden. Bodies were not found for 1 1/2hrs. Bullock called Tom was very ill but is improving. Thomas laid nets on Monday and will send anything he catches. Writer caught young owl yesterday. Hopes father, mother and Mary had good journey to town. Is practising Second Concerto. Sends love to Mr and Mrs Pott.
