Spent Thurs. at Odell Castle. Had week's visit from Chas.Varnham and Mr Greaves. Describes journey to Wm. Travel's then to Yardley, Northampton, Daventry, Southam, Warwick Castle, Stratford on Avon, Alchester, Evesham and Worcester. This morning visited old forge at Morvan Wells and has also been to Upton, Tewkesbury and Gloucester. Is going on to Chepstow. Teadon asked writer's advice about publishing a poem but writer advised him to ask Mr Johnson or Lady Hesketh
