Memorandum of Agreement between (1) John Mayle, Bedford, publican, and (2) George Witt, esquire, MD, and Thomas Gwyn Elger, esquire, by which John Mayle agrees to sell to (2) for £1000 the freehold messuage or tenement in the High Street and Fish Market in Bedford now partly occupied by his tenants John Bithrey and Hawkins, and partly unoccupied. To which is attached: Receipt of John Mayle for £516 12s being balance in full for the purchase of hereditaments as in agreement 21 Oct 1836
