    Re new bank account and money belonging to Mrs Pope ‘…the money Mrs Pope advanced Mr Pope was obtained by sale of her share in the Potton Brewery, which she had for many years…She had money under her grandfathers will but I don’t see that this has anything to do with Somerset House, & I think, with that money she bought the share in the Brewery…The money Mrs Pope lent C J P went to pay off loan from the Bank when a guarantor withdrew his guarantee.’
