    Lease and Release: (1) Paul Faldo, Ravensden, Bedfordshire, clerk, one of the sons of William Faldo, late of Bedford, gentleman, deceased (2) John Truelove, Bedford, horse courser, and wife Elizabeth. Conveyance by (1) to (2) in consideration of £100 - messuage or tenement with appurtenances in Bedford St Paul called the White Lyon, late in the occupation of Thomas Keale and now of Hocket Spencely, bounded: North and West - by the common street; East - partly by freehold late of William Lane, gentleman, and partly on a messuage or inn called the Saddle; South - on a messuage or inn formerly called the Christopher. To be held to (2) for the life of the survivor, and then to the use of Elizabeth, Mary, Anne and John, the four children of John Truelove by wife Elizabeth, to be equally divided between them.     Excepting - a piece of ground once part of the premises next to the messuage of Susan Bolton, widow, and divided by a fence of pales erected by Thomas Woodward and Alexander Bolton, gentleman, and lately conveyed by Paul Faldo for use of Thomas Woodward and Alexander Bolton, and also a piece of ground on which John Okely has recently erected an edifice which he now holds by lease of Paul Faldo and which is intended to be conveyed by Paul Faldo to use of John Okely.
