Deed dated 7 December 1894 William John Pope and Charles James Pope both of Biggleswade covenanted to pay George Kershaw Pope £1000 and interest.
Deed dated 2 November 1895 George Kershaw Pope assigned interest to the Capital and Counties Bank Limited to secure his overdraft.
George Kershaw Pope declared bankrupt.
Now 1) acknowledges receipt of £100 from 2) in full satisfaction for all claims against 2) in respect of the first recited deed but not to operate as a release of the estate of G K Pope or his trustee in bankruptcy in respect of the balance of his overdraft to the bank.
