- Scope and ContentReciting marriage settlement of 23 Nov 1771 [see BorBE 11/9/2] and that the marriage took place and that William Hornbuckle Parker died without issue leaving his wife surviving him. Reciting that William Hornbuckle Eagle, only son and heir at law of Ann Hornbuckle Eagle deceased, the wife of Thomas Eagle, which said Ann Hornbuckle Eagle and Elizabeth Hornbuckle Chapman deceased, the wife of Edward Chapman who died without issue, were the only sisters of the said William Hornbuckle Parker and both died in his lifetime, was nephew and heir at law of William Hornbuckle Parker, and so became entitled to the cottage in fee simple subject to the life interest of Mary, the widow of William Hornbuckle Parker, since deceased. Reciting death of William Hornbuckle Eagle, leaving Elizabeth Hornbuckle Ames his sister and heiress at law, his other sister Ann Eagle having died an infant and unmarried.
