  • Title
Letter from Frederick Conder of Conder & Son to Messrs Hooper & Co. Interest to each legatee to be at rate of 5% from January 1st. ‘…I feel sure that Pope Brothers ought not to draw more than £500 each and certainly would not do so if they desire to comply with the arrangement made – they start with a good sum towards the £7500 & ought to complete the amount in the time though they would not be able to pay over the respective shares or it would leave them stranded…I think Mr Jas Pope and W Chambers ought to be preference creditors as suggested in letter Sept 19th.’
