    Recites: - Indenture dated 25 April 1865 between 1) William Larkins of Biggleswade, gent and 2) William Pope, merchant. By lease and release dated 14 & 15 Dec 1824, release between 1) John Lancaster, 2) James Bates, 3) Samuel Sanelon & Thomas Yoxon, 4) William Larkins, 5) Robert Lindsell, all that messuage in Shortmead Street formerly in the occupation of William Wright & the Revd George Mossen but then of Kinnan & Tebbutt, and new erected building adjacent then used as a schoolroom upon the site of which formerly stood several cottages in the occupation of William Carter, John Mole, John Sheffield and others, all which was in the occupation of John Lancaster and now of William Larkins and James Pope with all commons rights, released to William Larkins. William Larkins agreed to absolute sale for £100 of right of common for one horse two cows and a breeder.
