    Lease: (1) The Rev John Hempstead, vicar of Bedford St Paul, John Pheasant and Thomas Empy, churchwardens of Bedford St Paul (2) King Taylor of Kempston, yeoman. (1) to (2) rent £2. 10s. per annum for 40 years: a messuage or tenement in Stonehouse Lane in parish of Bedford St Paul late in the occupation of Randall Taylor, now of William Taylor his son, bounded: East - by a house wherein James Wiffin once lived; West - by a way leading out of Stonehouse Lane into the Butcher Row; all that butchers shop or room and chamber over it adjacent on the East to the aforesaid messuage or tenement, bounded: South - by the said Butcher Row; the ground before the said shop and room; that room formerly a slaughter shop adjacent the messuage or tenement abutting South on Butcher Row.
