    Signatures torn off. Witnesses Henry Horton, Griffith Morgan. Reciting will of Robert Webb late of Kempston, cordwainer, deceased made 13 Nov. 1748, by which he left his messuage divided into 2 dwellings with a close in St. Peter Merton in Bedford to his wife Elizabeth Webb for her life, the same to be sold on her death by his executors. (James Hodson and Robert Whisk) and they are then to pay £10 each to grandchildren Robert and Sarah Webb (son and daughter of testator's son William Webb) and also £10 each to grandchildren John and Elizabeth Webb (children of testator's son Robert Webb) and £10 to grandaughter Sarah, the child of his son-in-law Richard Wright. The surplus, after expences, to go to son Robert Webb. Robert Webb now wishes to sell his reversionary interest in the estate, although his mother is still alive, and she and the eldest son Wm. are willing to join in the sale upon security given for the payment to her of £4 a year for life. William Vowell of Bedford, gent., wishes to purchase the property for £93.
