- Scope and Contenti) Mathew Ludgate, Clapham, yeoman ii) John Brett, Wolverton, Bucks, miller iii) John Alderman, Sharpenhoe, Streatley, gent. iv) William Becher, Howbury, Renhold, esq. v) William Farrer esq. eldest son of Denis Farrer of Cold Brayfield, Bucks. esq. and Henry Horton, Bedford, gent., trustees Reciting MO51 & 52 above, and that the £120 and interest were not repaid, and Reciting indenture of 27 April 1742 between 1) Thomas Maddey 2) John Alderman 3) Mathew Ludgate Being an assignment to (3) of the remainder of mortgage term in consideration of £124 10s., and reciting that the £124 10s. was not repaid to Mathew Ludgate, but that John Brett advanced £127 10s. to Ludgate on 22 Oct. 1742, but the term still remains vested in Ludgate, and Reciting indenture of 22 Oct 1742 between 1) John Alderman 2) John Brett, Salford, Beds.miller, being mortgage (demise 3000 years) by (1) to (2) for £200 (of which the £127 10s. was part) and interest, but capital not repaid, and Reciting further share £60 on 6 Dec 1742 Reciting further charge £40 on 16 Nov 1744 and that the sum now due is £324, and that John Alderman has contracted for the sale to Becher of the fee simple of the property (excepting a messuage with yard, orchard and dovehouse) for £400 ASSIGNMENT (copy) by (i) and (ii) to (v) in trust for (iv) (and as to the messuage etc. in trust for (iii)) of mortgage terms in the premises. witnessed Francis Mason, Thomas Cawne, John Pepiatt, Griffith Morgan. 17 Nov 1746 Certified a true copy by Edward Francis & Griffith Morgan 28 Sept 1751
