Lease by (1) to (2) for 11 years from Lady Day last, of all that messuage or tenement with appurtenances, lately let to Robert Clare, barber, deceased, and late in the tenure of Anthony Rush, and now of ... in Girdler's Lane in the parish of St Paul, Bedford: South - the said lane; East and West - tenements of said Robert Clare, deceased. To hold to (2) in trust for the use of Elizabeth, wife of Benjamin Dodgeon of Bedford, victualler, one of the daughters of Robert Clare, deceased, for so many years of the term as Benjamin and Elizabeth shall jointly live, and thereafter to the use of Elizabeth for life, and then to use of Mary, wife of Isaac Hurst of Bedford, victualler, another daughter of Robert Clare, upon trusts etc declared in the will of Robert Clare. Annual rent: 6s. 8d. payable half yearly, the first payment to be made at Michaelmas next. Clauses concerning assignment of lease by (2).
