    Folio vol., orig. binding, 172 pp. (pp. 21-26 loose) Only pp. 1-102 and 1-9 at end written; Cover: meetings:- Flaunden & Watford Chorleywood & Rickmansworth empstead & Wood End Albans p.l Friends for some time have had a concern to set up an MM for west Herts., eventually approved by YM; men met at Hempstead 4/4/1703; MM to be first 6th day monthly; women decide to meet at same time; 18 names appended (4 Neales, 2 Sterridges) At end: pp.1-7 collection accounts 1706-34, qtrly for MM poor (1703-5 are at front pp. 2-6 and sporadically thereafter); amounts from each PM at first vary from 1s. to 13s. 6d, but most frequently 1s.6d.; but after about 1714 average for each is 4s., usually listed under Watford, Hemspstead, Albans, Flaunden; p. 9 QM queries, 1755 p. 10 ptd. prospectus for reprinting Isaac Penington's works, 1759 Attendance: not given till p. 99, when those present vary 2-8 1764 Routine: marriage (at first a number but gradually decreasing till practically none) Otherwise entry "no business" Organisation: pp. 2,27,55 treasurers: Hannah Neale jr., 1703; Sar.
