MM at Hempstead "It being represented to us that Sar the daughter of Thos Wingfield has lately brought a reproach and scandal upon the Society by her imprudent and disorderly conduct, and after exposing herself to shame, has been married by the Priest to a young man not of our persuasion 7th 4th 1758 Jas Archer & Thos Squire apptd to visit 2. Minutes of 5th 5th 1758 & 3. 2nd 6th 1758 failed to visit 4. 7th 7th 1758 have visited but meeting "being small" report held over 5. Minute: Report of Visitation Ctee "they had an opportunity with the young woman and endeavoured to make her sensible of her offence in rejecting the Guidance of the pure spirit of Truth which leads out of the Ways of darkness and Error to follow her own Lusts and evil Inclinations whereby she had offended God and brought a reproach upon Friends" by so doing signified she had excluded herself from Membership had undergone great remorse and sorrow hoped to be restored to unity. 4th 8th1758 Dorse note indicates that by 1808 Sar Wingfield in "now stonnell"
