Indenture between Frederick Phippes of London gent, & Henry Coloppe of Flitwick.

By patent of this year, Queen Elizabeth let at farm to Anthony Cave of London, gent., 2 pightles & 36 acres land at Flitwick, formerly of Reynold Colloppe, to whom they had been leased for 21 years in 1575 at a rent of 12s 2d., to be held by Anthony Cave from 1576 for 50 years. Thereon Anthony Cave sold his interest in the lease to Frederick Phippes, who by this indenture sells it to Henry Coloppe for £21. An endorsement by Brooks refers this to 'The Warren Farm of which the Collops afterwards acquired the Fee'.
