    Release of Right by William Thurlby of London, gentleman, John Campbell of …Luce, Ireland and Anne, his wife and Martha Colbrond of Hayes [Middlesex], spinster Reciting: - indenture of 1 Feb 1640 from (1) Humphry Newton, late of Caldwell, deceased and (2) William Doughty of Lincolns Inn [Middlesex], gentleman and Thomas Doughty, gentleman, his brother to secure sums owed by (1), in particular for £100 due by bond to William Thurlby and £100 due to Anne Campbell by the name of Anne Boteler and £60 due to Martha Colbrond, secured on (a); - indenture of 4 May 1643 between (1) William and Thomas Doughty and Humphry Newton the elder (2) Humphrey Newton the younger in which the Doughtys at the request of Humphry Newton the elder enfeoffed (a)-(c) to (2) Operative Part - Thurlby, Campbell and Colbrond released their rights to (a)-(c) for £260 in shares of £100, £100 and £60 paid by Humphry Newton the younger Property: (a) the interest in the manor or site of the former Cauldwell Priory and all lands etc. appertaining in Bedford Saint Mary, Wootton, Cardington and Kempston; (b) messuage in Saint Giles -in-the-Fields, London in the occupation of Henry, Lord Maltravers, son and heir of Thomas, Earl of Arundel and Surrey, Earl Marshal of England (for the remainder of 99 years from an indenture of 1 Feb 1640); (c) rectory and parsonage of Kempston and its tithes (for the remainder of a term of 60 years if Lucy Leigh shall so long live from indenture of 1 Feb 1640) Witnesses: - H.
