Includes: - letter from Wells to Fred Tanqueray ‘I have had another look at the cottages …and take them with the land (subject to my being able to get a licence transferred) at £700. Though I should much prefer and think it would be better if Major Brooks could manage to sell me a piece of land at the bend on the opposite side of the road.
