Letter from W B Calcott to Mr Brooks giving details of income and expenditure of the living of Flitwick, including details of Queen Anne’s Bounty. Calcott’s father willing to sell advowson for £2850 having originally paid £2250 for it with a debt upon the house and having spent a great deal of money on the house, garden glebe, farm buildings etc in last five years. Others anxious to treat for the living, had received four applications besides Brooks’s before he had made up his mind to resign.
