1) Alexander Hatfield of Twickenham 2) John Brooks of Chancery Lane and John Maddocks of Vron Tw in Denbighshire. Penalty £4000. Marriage agreed between John Thomas Brooks of Twickenham and Mary Hatfield, eldest daughter of 1). 1) is to pay 2) £2000 within 6 calendar months of the death of the survivor of Alexander Hatfield and his wife Mary with interest at the rate of 5% per annum to commence from the day of the death of such survivor for the benefit of John Thomas Brooks and his intended wife Mary Hatfield. Note on bottom reads ‘We have no objection to this draft as altered M & L 8 April 1816’
