    - to cousin Martha Dell now living at Charles De Lacts esq. at Poteralls in North Mims, Herts and her assigns during her life one yearly rent of £20 free of taxes payable out of lands in Marston in two equal half yearly payments. - land etc at Marston to friend Frank Nicholls of Holywell, Oxford, doctor of physic and his heirs for ever. - to Jeffery Fisher of Maulden leasehold lands in Maulden held of the Governors of the free Grammar School of John Lyon in Harrow on the Hill, Middlesex until expiration of lease ‘and do hereby recommend him to the governors as a person to be depended upon on the renewal of the lease. - to Richard Filkes the elder and Richard Filkes the younger apothecaries at Woburn and their heirs (in trust for goddaughter Ann daughter of Jeffery Fisher and wife Ann and now an infant of about seven years) capital messuage at Flitwick with paddock closes and appurtenances and all other messuages, cottages, lands etc situate at Flitwick, Greenfield, Maulden and Cranfield. Rents to be used for maintenance and education of child and surplus rents and profits to be placed out at interest in the public stocks or government securities and dividends paid to mother Ann Fisher until Ann the daughter is 21 or marries with consent of her parents. Then to god daughter Ann for her natural life and then to her husband if he survives her and then to the use of the first son of Ann legally begotten and in default to sons in order and if no sons to daughters divided equally. In default of children of god daughter then Cranfield, Maulden and Greenfield to Jeffery Fisher and wife Ann for ever and Flitwick to them for life and then to Richard Filkes the elder. If god daughter Ann dies or marries without consent before the age of 21all to go to Richard Filkes the elder and younger etc. ‘It is my earnest desire and request to my friend Jeffry Fisher that he would commit and entrust the case of the education of my said god daughter entirely to his wife’ - household goods, furniture, plate, linen and pictures in mansion house at Flitwick to go with house. - To Richard Filkes senior £100, to Richard Filkes junior £50 - James Stonehouse of Bristol £50, Mrs Baresby widow of the Revd Mr Baresby late of Lowesby, Leics £50, to god children Dr Stonehouse’s son, daughter of Dr Cotton of St Albans physician, Henry Fish Palmer’s son of Ickwell and the Rev’d Mr Dove’s daughter of little Offley, Herts £5 each. To Miss Rowse daughter of Revd Mr Rowse of Clophill £20, to cousin King now of the Excise £20, Mrs Coppin of Ampthill and the Revd Mr Aveling of Ampthill £10 each. To Mr James Grassineau, Mrs Grassineau and Miss Godfrey their niece of Bedford £5 to each. Mr Brydall of Ampthill apothecary £5. Miss Bett Essex of Felmersham £5, William Cook of Maulden Thatcher ‘whose integrity I have so often experienced’ £5, friend Mr Ekins treasurer of the Royal Exchange assurance £10, to his sister Mrs Banks of Reading £10, Mr William Sharp surgeon in Mincing Lane ‘as a small acknowledgement for his unceasing tenderness, attention and great skill during my late being his patient’ £10, Mr Waller now living with Mr Fleming of Bedford apothecary ‘as a small mark of my esteem’ £5, friend the Revd Mr Williamson of Milbrook £5, Revd Mr Rowse of Clophill £5. - To the poor (to put out a child apprentice; and to be distributed at Christmas) Flitwick £10 and £5; Maulden £5, £5; Cranfield £8, 40s, Marston £10, £5; the last to be by advice of tenant Mr Bosworth and Rev Hatton rector as my dear friend Dr Nichols is a stranger to the parish.
