Title
Recognizance: John Fairey of Harrold, innkeeper & farmer and Elizabeth Fairey, haberdasher & shopkeeper, £20 each, to give evidence at the trial of Jane Hartwell. The said Jane Hartwell being charged by Rey of having fraudulently taken on the 4th September 1816 one Harborough Bank note value ten pounds out of a letter entrusted to her care to put into the Post Office at Bozeat & the property of the said Wm Rey and provided the said Bill shall be returned a true Bill that then he shall give such evidence as he knows before the court & jury sworn on the trial of the said Jane Hartwell.
