Includes (sealed on the front fly-leaf) a certified extract from the will of William Strange of Houghton Regis from the register of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, concerning a Charitable bequest to the Vicar and Churchwardens for poor, aged, and sick persons, "not Quakers or common beggars", charged on 140 acres of land in Houghton Regis, dated 25 June 1664. Also includes (in baptism entries, 1811) an account of the Population of the parish, 1811; and (near end) some Banns entries, 1819.
