When convenient, send particulars of account for bark, fuller's earth etc. Sorry for delayed payment; [apparently a dispute over oak bark]; regret the dispute, as independently of the loss to me on this transaction it will I dare say prevent my doing business with the company again. Your present statement not consistent with previous letters. As to chestnut bark, I enclose [not here] letter from Leicester. For many years I have taken bark from H.H. Hoare, P.D.P. Duncombe, Lord Carrington, Sir Robert Inglis, Col.Hanmer, P.Knapp etc. & have never had a dispute.
