Reads- Estimate required for expense of rebuilding cattle-sheds & piggery; proposed additions to mill buildings; new cart-shed; work to be done in new kitchen garden (fruit room, cherry & fig houses, completing walls, completing levelling of ground, principal approach to garden, external fence next Froxfield road; (?) removal of pinery). What ought to be done about park wall? - now a regular expense. Water must be laid on to Todd's house. (Remaining improvements at Sawyer's etc. can hardly be done this year). Plan an estimate of venison larder. Painting Ireland's house.
